Description

Offered here is a Performance touring kayak for the smaller person up to 170 lbs. Although I am slightly larger, I have paddled it and have really enjoyed it, as seen in one of the glossary pic\\\'s. It is just over 17ft and about 22 in at the beam. This is a 1999 Sea Lion with Kevlar reinforced at the bow and stern by Aquaterra for added strngth and less weight. I believe this to be about 48 to 50 lbs. Although it paddles and performs well without a rudder, as it is nimble and quick to turn, it does come with a rudder for those days out in the open sea when winds and currents can be a work out.
